Target audience (done)

Our target audience was aimed at 18-25 year olds. This is because our film appeals to a young audience due to the graphic scenes and quick multiple murders. It is not targeted to a older audience as we dont think that it will appeal to them as much as it will appeal to the younger audience. Also we think that the mature aged adults would think that this film isn't acceptable because of all the murders and bad language but the younger generation would like this sort of film because communities have changed and its very rare that young adults haven't heard bad language or have watched films with bad language or graphical scenes in before. The research i have done has shown me that 18 years of age is a suitable age certificate. My category is 18-25 because my research tells me that the films like 'Saw' and 'paranormal activity' mainly appeal to the ages of 18-25 years olds.
